WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt Dead At 36

Some really sad news today. In the early hours of the morning here in the UK, Paul "Triple H" Levesque posted an update on his official Twitter (X) profile announcing the death of WWE star Windham Rotunda Aka Bray Wyatt.

"Just received a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda who informed us of the tragic news that our WWE family member for life Windham Rotunda - also known as Bray Wyatt - unexpectedly passed earlier today. Our thoughts are with his family and we ask that everyone respect their privacy at this time"

Wyatt hadn't been seen on TV for some months due to a serious health issue, however it was rumoured that he was nearing a return.

He died at the age of 36. He leaves a wife and 4 children behind. Windham was the grandson of Blackjack Mulligan, and son of Mike Rotunda, known as IRS in WWE. His brother Bo Dallas also wrestled in WWE.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported on Twitter that cause of death was a heart attack and that Rotunda had an existing heart issue that was made worse thanks to COVID.

We send our deepest sympathies to his family and friends at this time. The wrestling world has been coming out with emotional tributes ever since the news hit. We will try and post a rundown of those later today.
