Gear up stalkers - it’s time to turn on your consoles! Publisher All in! Games and developer The Farm 51 have the privilege to share one of the many planned expansions for Chernobylite with Playstation and Xbox players. A free update will add new locations, missions, and gear.
The first add-on, Ghost Town, introduces a new map (Pripyat Residential) to the base game and sends players on several side missions. It also comes with a paid cosmetics pack “Deadly Frost”. The second free expansion, Season One, offers a new adventure titled “Memory of You”, gives players a free crossbow, and unlocks new item effects with the paid “Blue Flames” pack. The game also received a few bug fixes and performance enhancements - for both generations of consoles. You can read more about these changes here.
Chernobylite is a survival horror set in the hyper-realistic, 3D-scanned wasteland of Chernobyl’s Exclusion Zone. You’ll take on the role of Igor, a physicist and ex-employee of the Chernobyl Power Plant, returning to Pripyat to investigate the mysterious disappearance of his fiancée - Tatyana, 30 years prior. In your search to uncover the truth, you will compete with the hostile military presence, other stalkers, and supernatural creatures, as well as the harsh and unforgiving environment. Get ready for a thrilling adventure of survival, conspiracy, horror, love, and obsession. Not everyone will be able to conquer their fear!
For the first anniversary of the game’s release, Chernobylite fans and merch collectors can participate in a Black Stalker plushie campaign, which will last until August 25th. The mascot will be distributed if the campaign reaches its base goal of 200 copies ordered.
Ghost Town and Season One DLCs are already available for download on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The “Deadly Frost” and “Blue Flames” packs are available for $3.99/€3.29/£2.89. Chernobylite can be purchased with a special discount on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox (check the details of each promo on your platform’s digital store).
