PORTLAND, MARCH 2, 2023 - The tight-knit and ever-busy crew at Panic are ready to share some new updates about their unique video game handheld system with a crank, Playdate, during the next Playdate Update on March 7, 2023 at 9 AM PT. The 13-minute digital presentation will be focusing some new games coming very soon to the handheld, an update on Catalog (Panic’s own curated, on-device and web browser storefront for Playdate software), and more.
Playdate began shipping to customers on April 18, 2022. To date, Panic has shipped over 25,000 Playdate units. While Playdates are not yet available to purchase on-demand, Playdate is still available for pre-order via play.date.
