GUNNAR Lahti Glasses Review

Hello everyone! My name is Nichola and this is XPN Gaming. I am thrilled to be doing a review on the Gunnar Optiks Lahti Gaming Glasses. 

There are three beautiful colours available in the Kista Collection - Poseidon, Rose Crystal and Onyx. The set I was fortunate enough to receive was the Onyx edition and they are stunning!

As a busy mom to a curious and energetic baby boy I often find that when I have some free time in the evenings to play video games to unwind, that some days my eyes feel tired or I have a headache if I use my screens for too long. So I was delighted to learn that the Gunnar Optik glasses with their amber tint are designed to block the majority of harmful blue light emitted from screens and make for a more comfortable gaming experience completely removing any of the negative symptoms I had been previously experiencing. They felt so lightweight and looked so stylish from the minute I put them on that I almost forgot I was wearing them at times.  

Comfort & Fit  

First things first: as a mom, comfort is key. I don’t have time to fuss with anything that feels heavy, slips down my nose, or gives me a headache. Thankfully, Gunnar glasses are lightweight and fit snugly without being too tight. I can wear them for hours without discomfort, even while wrangling my little one.  

Blue Light Protection  

Before getting these glasses, I often ended the day with tired, dry eyes and the occasional headache. Since using Gunnar Optiks, I’ve noticed a real reduction in eye strain, even after long hours of screen exposure. The yellow-tinted lenses took a little getting used to at first, but now I barely notice the tint, and my eyes feel more relaxed. 

Durability & Kid-Proofing  

If you have a toddler, you know they get their hands on everything. My child has already yanked these glasses off my face multiple times, and they’ve survived unscathed. The frames feel sturdy, and the lenses don’t scratch easily—major win! 

When the glasses arrived they included all the tools you would need to keep your glasses clean and protected when not in use:

My Final Thoughts 

My overall experience with the Onyx Lahti gaming glasses was incredible. They have amazing quality, with a delicate design but very well engineered. They will definitely be a product I will get alot of use out of while I game in the evenings, helping me wake up headache free in the morning with my little boy.
