Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed previously released onto current gen consoles and PC in October 2022. It was a pretty decent and faithful remaster of the original PS2 classic. You can check out the video review I did of that release here:
Now developers Black Forest Games have brought out a port of that release for last gen systems (Xbox One and PS4) which is great for the large amount of people who missed out on the original release. The game itself it's pretty much exactly the same, with very little compromised for this version to run on last gen, barring extended loading times and slightly less crisp textures the story and gameplay remains untouched. One big change, and I assume you have guessed what that is based off the games name, is the removal of multiplayer.
Now i'm not going to go into too much detail here, if you want to learn more I recommend just watching my above review as the core content bar multiplayer is the same. I assume the removal was due to hardware limitations and the multiplayer being a rather mainly unused mode compared to single player. Luckily this release also includes some extra content for free! Which is a nice addition of extra skins and some of the single player DLC the next gen version got post release! "Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed: Single Player" Features:

• Includes all content from the Skin-Pack DLC and the skins from "Destroy All Humans! (2020)"

Overall this is a release that owners of the Xbox One can rejoice at. They get to play a game that is tons of fun, with additional content included at a bargain price. Obviously the lack of multiplayer may be a turn off for some, but honestly I have never really been bothered about it and primarily played the games in the franchise solo. It's an absolutely fine trade off to be able to experience the game on last gen, and barring some annoying increased loading times, the gameplay is just as enjoyable and awesome to play as the current gen release! Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed: Single Player was released onto the Xbox store on the 27th June 2023. The game is playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles and is priced at £24.99. The game can be purchased HERE.
