STOCKHOLM – September 21st, 2022 – Raw Fury and Out of the Blue Games are delighted to announce that Call of the Sea is officially being developed for virtual reality and will be released for the Meta Quest 2 next year and will have voice-over acting available in English, French, and Spanish.
Accompanying the announcement of its VR version, the story-driven puzzle adventure has also been selected as part of the Raindance Festival, (26 Oct - 26 Nov, 2022) which is celebrating all independent XR creators, game designers, virtual world builders, and performers with the festival’s vanguard Raindance Immersive program. It is also nominated for Best Game along with Townscaper VR, the multiple nominated delightful building-simulator from Oskar Stålberg published also by Raw Fury. At this event Out of the Blue Games will be revealing the first glimpse of the VR version of their BAFTA-nominated adventure game, Call of the Sea. Fans and festival goers will be able to apply to join a closed Alpha demo to be among the first to explore the game's lush tropical island environments and clever puzzles. We’re looking forward to being part of this exciting interactive occasion in the digital and physical sense and sharing more about these wonderful VR titles with you all.
