aNCHOR Inc. Announces New Games and More in the Muv-Luv Universe at Comiket 99


Muv-Luv Integrate & Muv-Luv Resonative announced, as well as updates for Project MIKHAIL, Immortals: Muv-Luv Alternative, and the new Metaani Project were all detailed at one of Tokyo’s largest fan expos


Tokyo, January 3rd, 2021 | aNCHOR Inc. made many exciting announcements at Comic Market 99 in Tokyo that sets the stage for a huge 2022 for the Muv-Luv series. Two brand new games in the Muv-Luv series were announced: Muv-Luv Integrate and Muv-Luv: Resonative.


Two voices actresses for the Muv-Luv Alternative anime, Chisato Konno (Left) and Maria Noda (Right) cosplaying as their characters. They played the roles of Tae Tsukiji and Haruko Kashiwagi, respectively.

Muv-Luv INTEGRATE PV

Muv-Luv INTEGRATE is the official sequel to the hit game Muv-Luv Alternative. First released in 2006, Alternative has spawned countless anime, novels, manga, fan-discs and spin offs, and now for the first time there is a true sequel that delves into the unanswered mysteries of the hit story. Muv-Luv INTEGRATE was first announced in 2019, and its first trailer was just revealed at Comiket 99 on December 29th

Muv-Luv Resonative

Muv-Luv Resonative continues the story of the popular “Muv Luv Unlimited: The Day After” series, currently available on Steam. The Day After tells the story of an Earth which was completely destroyed in an apocalyptic blast when the war against invading aliens was lost, and the struggle of its few remaining humans in the last days before mankind goes extinct. Resonative is a new entry point for the series, that anybody can play without having to play the preceding games.


A new trailer for the game was revealed at Comiket 99.

Project MIKHAIL Producer's Letter vol.4

Project MIKHAIL is a mecha battle action game that was released via Steam’s Early Access program on November 2, 2021. We just released the fourth video of our producer letter, which explains our plans for upcoming updates in the future based on feedback from fans around the world. There will be major updates for the game in February, which include an overhaul of the camera system and movement system as well as the option to switch English/Japanese voices.

Metaani × Muv-Luv collaboration

aNCHOR will be doing a collaboration with the NFT avatar project Metaani and Muv-Luv. Metaani is a Japanese NFT avatar project that serves as a metaverse for users, and users will be able to get their own special Muv-Luv Tactical Surface Fighter avatars! Metaani is a project launched by mekezzo, the organizer of the world's largest crypto art exhibition Crypto Art Fes, and by a VR creator Misoshita. In Metaani, each 3D model is unique, and no two models can be the same.In September 2021, they launched the collaborative art of the Vtuber "Kizuna Ai", releasing her first NFT contents.


Immortals: Muv-Luv Alternative

Our upcoming Android/iOS game "Immortals" is currently in pre-registration. The game itself is scheduled to be launched in February 2022 in Japan. We’re currently seeing if it’s possible to launch the game globally, and we’ll have more information soon!

Muv-Luv EXTRA/UNLIMITED is coming to smartphones!


Muv-Luv EXTRA/UNLIMITED is finally coming to smartphones. The Android port was a reward promised to backers in the 2015 Kickstarter, and after 6 years it’s finally here with the bonus addition of the iOS port! They will be released in the spring of 2022, please look forward to further news!


Anime "Muv-Luv Alternative" Second Season Coming Next Year

The anime adaptation of "Muv-Luv Alternative" will be having a second season next year, continuing the story of Shirogane Takeru and his battle against the alien invaders. The first season is available on Crunchyroll now.


Collaboration With Tokyo Design Technology Center

aNCHOR has announced a learning partnership with Tokyo Design Technology Center (TECH.C.) TECH.C.’s students will be provided with materials and designs for the Muv-Luv franchise by aNCHOR, and will be tasked as part of their learning curriculum to create original games set in the game’s universe.


aNCHOR will provide feedback on the projects, and be on hand to students solve the innumerable problems that come with creating a game. The finished games may even be considered for full commercial release by aNCHOR!

Tokyo Design Technology Center (TECH.C.) is a school where students learn to train their creative skills using computers. Through its learning partnership system, it works with some of the biggest companies in the world to give students experiences that will dramatically enhance their opportunities for growth. More Episodes of Muv-Luv Alternative are Available as Keyframe Cards!


Keyframe Cards are digital trading cards with short clips from your favorite anime! These cards are a great way to support anime creators in Japan, and Muv-Luv Alternative is the first anime they’re available for. Keyframe cards for the first 10 episodes have already been sold, and now episodes 11 and 12 are available for purchase.

Muv-Luv Duty PV

To close out the year, aNCHOR also released a small PV for an upcoming project, DUTY -LOST ARCADIA-. We’re not ready to say much more about this project, but more will be coming in 2022!
